this is what i did:

you need some space at a wall and spread your legs to the wall with your feet touching. and push your body closer and closer to the wall until your whole body touches the wall. (mind you this will not happen overnight.)

things to remember:
1. BREATHE BREATHE BREATHE! the more you breathe when you do this the farther you can push to the wall and give your body a better stretch. more oxygen can get to the muscles thus, letting them stretch more efficiently.

2. practice makes perfect :)

3. dont force it! that can make things worse. go as far as you can and hold it for as long as you can.

You should not exert stress on your body. You should be alright without any stretch. You must know that your body is as fit as it should be. Any endeavour on your part to get it further stretched in middle may creat problems. Good Luck
