According to my science teacher, when you're a teenager esp. an early teen your body weight fluctuates a lot bcause the body behaves in an unusual way when you're undergoing a period of rapid growth.... you often feel very hungry and so more fat and body mass is reserved, then suddenly this extra body mass you've accumulated drops off and you experience a growth spurt.

In essence it's more healthy to have a bit of body fat than fit into what BMI tables might say.

thats tall....about 130 > i guess

use google, type in " teen bmi calc " put in your numbers where indicated and it will tell you what your body mass index is and whether or not you are normal, underweight, or obese.

I'm 15 years old and I am 5'8" and 1/2 and I weigh 117 lbs.

Depends on your genetics too; if your big boned or small boned.

5"9 I'd say anywhere from 120 - 145, but being 13 weight shouldn't really be that big of an issue. Your young, all you need to do is exercise and eat right, and everything else will take care of itself.

OH MY YOUR TALL! Well about 135 is a healthy weight and it also depends on how much muscle you have and how big your bones are. I'm 5'6 and and I could never be below 125 because my bones are bigger and i have more muscle than a lot of girls

I'm 18 and 5'2" and very fit..size 1 pants depending on if they're stretchy or not because the legs are muscular.. and my size pants dont like to fit.. so depending sometimes a 3.. not very big chest size.. i weigh in at like 121 lbs..
so give u an idea...
if you're active you should weigh between 135-145
not very active.. probably somewhere between 138-150

if anything search it.. =]

im 14 and 5'9".

id say about 120

100lbs for the first 5 ft + 5 lbs for every inch over 5ft... so that means about 145 lbs... you would be lean and healthy... =)

it depends on ur frame

if ur small frame medium large
142-151 lbs 148-160 lbs 155-176 lbs

Following is the method the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company used to calculate frame size:

1. Extend your arm in front of your body bending your elbow at a ninety degree angle to your body so that your forearm is parallel to your body.

2. Keep your fingers straight and turn the inside of your wrist towards your body.

3. Place your thumb and index finger on the two prominent bones on either side of your elbow, then measure the distance between the bones with a tape measure or calipers.
4. Compare to the chart below. The chart lists elbow measurements for a medium frame - if your elbow measurement for that particular height is less than the number of inches listed, you are a small frame - if your elbow measurement for that particular height is more than the number of inches listed, your are a large frame.

wemon
5'8 - 5'11
2 and 3/8ths inches to 2 and 5/8ths inches

if higher then ur a large frame
if lower ur a small frame
if its one of the inches i listed ur a medium frame

Good luck
:)

I have a very good website that can help:

http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calcula...

I just went to the doctor for a physical check-up.
They told me about my BMI (Body Mass Index) and then I went on this website. The results were EXACTLY the same as my results from the doctor.

It's really simple to figure out the correct answer to your question by using this website!!! I HOPE THIS HELPS!
