I'm 20 years old.my weight is 132 pounds.?!


Question: i tried jogging on a threadmill but unable to jog atleast for 10 mins continously at an average speed.i could'nt breath properly.if i do it continously.i thought may be i have asthama or something n consulted a doctor but he told that everything is fine.i dnt have any health problems..i have fat at my hips,stomach and thighs.does the structure of my body is not allowing me to jog?my fds of my age n more weight than me were able to jog continously,i could'nt understand why i could not do it!!

you need to build up to that workout. make sure you warm-up first , if you cant job for 10 min. then start at seven and religously do it every day and once you can do that without not being able to breathe properly increase it by five min. and continue until you get to 40min or whatever your goal is. also you might want to slow it down to a fast walk.

I'm 21 and weigh 135. the best Advise that I've gotten has been to do crunches and walk ^_^
I used to weigh 160lbs...

I normally think the bmi calculator on the internet is unrealistic but when I did my height(5'2) and weight(135) I think it said I'm normal or 5lbs overweight. How tall are you?

what I think helped to melt the inches off of me too is a vitamin I got at walmart for about $5.00. It's called "stress Tabs-Energy" and you get like 60-75 tablets that you take just one a day and it really helped me out alot. My troubled areas were my stomach(especially lower), hips, thighs and rear as well.

Maybe you are not use to exercise? Start out slow but make sure to push yourself. Exercise on a weekly basis and you will be able to jog more. Set goals or take a friend to help you.

You better keep watch on your weight according to Body Mass Index (BMI), which is calculated by dividing weight in kilograms by square of height in metres. The result and the status:

18 to 24 Healthy
24 to 29 Overweight
29 to 39 Obese
> 39 Super obese

It is not possible to take to jogging like one used to jogging does. Better start a brisk walk for half an hour and then increase the time of your walk to one hour. Try to jog for ten minutes as slow as you can. It is a misconception that if we jog fast, we can shed more calories. It will exhaust you soon, you'll be out of breath and the next day you will stop doing that. The secret of getting slimmed is to do continuous exercise, which is possible if you go slow. Keep watch on what you eat. Mere exercise would not deliver. It is natural that if you exercise, you feel hungrier. Take foods those are low in starch and fats. Go for maize or soya food products. Slow and steady gets you thin. Good luck.
