Will drinking lemon and water help me loose pounds?!


Question: I need to go on a diet that will help me loose 10-15 pounds in the next week. Im 125 currently. I plan on gaing it back its just for a show that I am doing. I know its not healthy but I have lost alot of weight before and I know how to gain weight slowly back, healthy and physicaly without damaging .
would a laxative be quicker( I know it would suck but I i am willing). For how long should I do this? Howquick do you see results?

You'll probably get a lot of people telling you to not damage your body and do it the healthy way, and why people feel like they have to tell you how to take control of your own life is beyond me! I guess you're thinking of the 'lemonade diet', which consists of water, straight lemon juice, organic maple syrup, and cayen (I know i've spelled it wrong) pepper. Pretty harsh stuff.. and it pretty much acts as a big time laxative, but i'm in the glamour/men's magazine modeling business and a lot of girls i've met use this before shoots. I'm too much of a sissy to do it because laxatives just freak me out, but i've heard it works pretty well. You can find it on Yahoo by typing in Lemonade Diet, and it will probably take you to the page that sells the stuff, or you can find the recipe for it. It also has all the info on how much you'll lose, when, and so forth. If you want to lose some quick water weight, you can try those Diurex water pills, or do one of those herbal body wraps at the spas.. which costs major dollars.. but it's worth it to get ready for your show. You can also wrap your troubled spots in saran wrap before bed to lose some quick inches before your big event. I attended massage therapy school and learned about this, though side effects and problems may occur. Hope this helps, and good luck! :)

The best method 4 reducing ur weight is excercise. Lemon and water will help u but it will take time.

It will help, as having a glass of warm water with lemon in the mornings kick-starts your metabolism.

DON'T use laxitives. They DO NOT work. The fats have already been burnt/stored by this point, and taking them without need causes damage to your bowels!

Your an idiot. You weigh 125, so you probably eat about 3 Lbs of food in a week. So if you don't eat at all theres 3 pounds. If you don't drink any water the day before theres about another pound. So were at 6 pounds to lose now. Even if you are very active (which you can't be with no callorie intake) you would still only lose another 3. So why don't you do the math yourself idiot. You can't do it. Sometimes I wish people would think before asking stupid stuff. Your a waist of skin, if you want to lose weight, kill yourself.

eat a bunch of little meals (fruit, vegs, crackers) throughout the day and do crunches! that will help you lose about 5 pounds in a week.

At first it will work but your body will adjust to an intake of 0 calories and your metabolism will slow and it will stop working. If you really wanted to lose weight then you should have started a couple weeks in advance and have lost the weight in a healthy manner. I'd recommend exercise and reducing your food consumption. Not to an unhealthy level but so you are getting the amount of calories you need and not overdoing it.
