600 calories a day.. burning 1000.. Bad/good? How many pounds can I lose in 12 d!

Question: I am eating 600 calories a day and burning 1200 calories a day on the eliptical for 2.5hr + weight lifting... How many pounds can I lose in 12 days??
I weigh 123 and am 5'3" =)
I drink 10 cups of water and eat "heathy calories".. everything from each food group...
I will SLOWLY go back up to 1,200 calories in the next few weks.. but this is some what of a life style change also.. I've lost a few pounds already.. I was 128 a week and a half ago.
No lectures please =(

my guess is 115 if you are lucky, you will lose quite a bit at first but then will bottom out and hold even as your body tones, 115 is a good mark though I'd guess the range you will fall would be anywhere between 110 and 120 lbs.

If you starve your body for calories your body will react by storing more calories and making it harder to get rid of them. I suggest you eat 5 small meals a day of high fiber, healthy preferably raw food. This will keep your metabolism up(meaning you'll burn more fat while stationary), and will help expel waste stored in your intestines. People that try and lose weight like this end up storing more bad fats while receiving less nurishment.

Sorry but im going to give you a lecture anyways, doing a crash diet like your on is well, effective but in the long run it wont do you very well at all, especially if you are young, and cutting down on your foods is a costly effort that takes a toll on your body, Your just too thin, if anything you need to gain some weight, its just not healthy

you'd be down to around 100 lbs

I certainly hope this is supervised. If not check with you MD and make sure you are not hurting yourself.

people have died on 600 calories a day your starving your body of all the nutrients and vitamins it needs
wake up and dont be so daft, eat normally just smaller portions and do some excersise,
you even wrote no lectures so you know deep down its a wrong way to lose weight

Eat more calories, keep it lean and balanced. If you drop your caloric intake too much, the body will go into "starvation" mode, and will not lose weight. 600 calories is not adequate for anyone.

That too much, is good only if you're trying to lose weight, but don't over do it, because it will make you sick and may end up in the hospital.

Losing that many a day isn't very healthy. Try sleeping because you burn 43 calories every half hour. Eat a healthy breakfast because you burn more calories because you are energized. Limit how much you're eating for lunch and dinner.

Try to walk on a tredmill for 30 minutes for 5 days a week, jumping jacks, cruches, push ups, lifting weights, even walking around. You'll still be getting a good nutrition even though you'll be losing weight faster.
