Will I have enough time to reach my goal weight?!


Question: My current weight is 195. I weighed 250 January of 2007. I am getting married February 14, 2009. I wish to be 152. I am currently taking Hoodia sure weight loss pills, as well as going to the gym, and I have changed my eating habits.

What else could I do to burn some extra fat as well my stubborn belly fat?

Congratulations on losing that weight! There is absolutely no reason why you can't reach your goal by 2009, and that's a very healthy time frame to lose 47 more pounds. My first piece of advice to you is to stop taking the hoodia... unless you have it set in your mind that it's helping you do this, you just don't need it! A couple of exercise tips: You will burn fat faster if you do cardio after weight training, and to further amp up the fat burning, try to split your workouts up.. weights in the morning, perhaps, and cardio in the evening. This keeps your tank burning all day long. Don't be afraid of muscle... I'm sure you know by now that not only does muscle weigh more than fat (because it has more density) but your body will need to burn more calories to maintain that muscle. If you can, eat 5 small meals a day. No matter what you eat or what time you eat, weight loss is simply this: calories in vs. calories out. If you constantly burn more than you take in... you'll lose weight! Best of luck to you and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

You do have enough time! first, cut out the weight loss pills. they are more harmful then helpful.
Since you are going to the gym, drink a protein drink that is made from whey, soy, or brown rice. You can get them at any vitamin shop. Drink them only after your workout. It will help you gain muscle and your body will burn calories faster.
Make sure you are eating enough fruits and vegetables.
I also recommend talking to a nutritionist. They can set up a plan for you and make your life much easier and healthier.

If you lost all this weight last year, then you can do it this year!

i advise you to drink green tea 1-3 glasses per day is enough
green tea speeds up your metabolism
drink lots and lots of water 8 glasses each day.
do not snack
do not eat 6 meals a day, try to only eat 3
if you are really hungry and you've had all your daily meals snack on fruits ( oranges, apples, bananas )
exercise more try and run for at least 30 minutes a day
get more active eg: instead of asking your mom to pass you the remote control get it your self it does count as extra exercise
get more sleep it prepares your body
stretch, yes it works and it doesn't just help you lose weight it helps with you're growing to make you a little taller
count your calories try to stay under the amount of 1200 calories per day
change you're lifestyle it makes a difference
do not eat candy or chips eat more greens or protein bars
avoid fast food and cut out fried food tell you're mom when she cooks you're meal to oven cook you're food do not fry it
chew gum because when you chew gum you do not pick at food for example if theres some chips in you're cupboard you go to them a think good damn they look good then you would say no i cant pick at them because i dont wanna throw my gum away
do not eat after 6pm because before 6pm you can burn all you're food off and if you eat after six it will lay on you're stomach as you eat.
do not eat before you go to sleep
drink a glass of water before you go to sleep
drink plain hot kettle water because it speeds up you're metabolism
do not weigh you're self everyday because it torments you,weight you're self once a week ( every Monday )

you can safley lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week
also for abs try, lay on your back, put your hand over your head on the floor you can even hold on to something heavy to keep you down and then lift your legs up and down it burns but it works really good!

Congratulations on your accomplishment so far!!!!!

You've already lost 55 lbs and took a year to do it. Very smart. You have almost a year to lose the final 43 lbs. Continue doing what you are doing. It's working. The only thing I might add is some walking. Park at the far end of the parking lot whenever you go shopping or to a movie, whatever. Find the long was to get to places and do it on foot. Make it a habit.

Again, congratulations. I know you will make a very handsome groom.

first of all Hoodia may help you lost weight but it is a dangerous pill probably kill you. Did you ask your Dr. about Hoodia? Most of Dr. wouldn't suggest on any pills diet but to put you on natural diet such as eating high-fiber , execrise, etc. Last year I lost over 20 pounds just because I eat high fiber with no cola, but 100% fruit juice and excrise every 10 mins in morning, afternoon, and night ...
