Dieters with a sweet tooth...?!

Question: How do you resist temptation or substitute your desire for chocolate, ice cream, etc.?

I'm not trying to lose 100 lbs. or anything, just like 10.
But they're hard to get off because I love sweets so much. I have a problem resisting when it involves sugar.
I think the only reason I don't gain is because I run everyday.
So how do you dieters with a sweet tooth stay on track?

I like light yogurt that's sweetened artificially. It's good by itself or as a dip for apples, bananas or strawberries. It's also good as a topper for a cup of cereal.
There are all kinds of sugar free and low fat or fat free ice creams and juice bars, etc., on the market.
Don't be fooled by sugar-free candies, though. They are NOT low calorie foods and can cause awful digestive upsets.

well if your craving something like pizza for instance
think about whats in pizza
have a slice of tomato instead
if that doesnt work think about chewing on a couple crackers
if you are totally in love with sugar but dont want to eat between meals then have a spoonful of honey or some sweet tea =)

I eat sweet pickles and pudding when I get that sweet carving, they are low in calories compared to other sweets in moderation. Just try to clean you enviroment of sweets as much as possable, and it will be really hard but star to eat less and less and you will loose that craving. I made a bet with my mom that I would not eat pizza for as long as she stayed on her diet and after 6 month when hit her goal I Lost my carving for pizza, I hope that helps.
