Is eating friend chicken without the skin as healthy as baked or grilled chicken!


Question: mmmm friend chicken... no - chicken prepared either baked or grilled (also without the skin) allows much of the fat in the chicken to cook away. Fried chicken keeps the fat in (plus adds the cooking oil as additional fat), and while a majority is directly under the skin, the whole chicken is still infused with it (which of course is what makes it more moist and delicious arrrrrrgh!)

if you are not friends with the chicken, that will half the calories.

not as healthy as baked or grilled (the oils still seep under the skin), but definitely better for you than actually eating the skin.

no it is the grease or oil that they fry it in

I am sure it is more healthy than with the skin. But the fact is the reason why baked and grilled chicken is healthier is becuase the chicken is'nt sitting in oil and fat and soaking all that stuff up like fried chicken does. If you are on a diet or something like that then eat baked or grilled for now. But occasianally treat yourself for doing good on your plan and have some fried chicken once in a while. Reward yourself so you have something to look foward to too keep on going.

No doubt grill or baked chicken is healthier then fried chicken, if its with out skin

If you make friends with a chicken, you probably shouldn't eat it.

No as healthy,but better than eating with the skin. It's the oil that it's cooked in that makes it bad. I love fried chicken, skin and all, but, I don't make it very often.

Baked or Grilled is the healthiest,but fried is the best i think.

No grill and bake are better.
