The best way to lose 40 pounds of pregnancy weight?!


Question: I just joined a gym and I know it's gonna take like 9 months to lose it, (it took 9 months to get it...) but I was just wondering what the best exercises are to do. Should I use the elliptical or the treadmill? For how long? What about the weight machines? Does Hydroxycut work? It says you lose 4.5 percent more then diet & exercise alone. Any suggestions?

Hydroxycut didn't work for me. I would start off with some cardio (elliptical, treadmill, stairmaster) and do that for as long as you can. You might not be able to go for a long time right away, but build up to it. Try to add five minutes each time, or something to that effect. Then do some ab excercises and some light lifting or weight machines. If your gym offers classes then I would look into that. It's a great way to burn calories and it spices up your routine! I also agree with the person who said to incorporate working out with your child, that way you can spend time together as well! Good luck :]

was put on this diet when became diabetic to become un-diabetic with out the drugs and it works great!

we as humans are plant eaters and supposed to be eating like that (foragers/hunters) since we evolved. it is hard to get used to at first but once u are used to it, it is easy, u fill up faster, and can have that no no yummy more often but as long as u keep it small.

as for exercises...no need for drastic stuff, sit ups, jumping jacks, fast walking, the things u were taught in PE in school works just as good as the excessive stuff.

Work out with ur infant and use as a weight. this way u get play time with ur child and work out all in one!
