Do I need to drink Whey protein only on the days I go to the gym?!


Question: I go to the gym 3 or 4 times a week and do weights.
I have Optimum nutrition whey protien and I drink it(about 3 tablespoons) just before goin to bed on the days I go to the gym.
Is this the proper way?

Do I also need to drink it on days im not doing exercises?

Take protein everyday.I personally use 4 protein.Elite whey protein,egg protein,casein protein,body fortress whey protein.

Elite and egg whites protein 2times/day,body fortress whey protein after workout,casein protein at night.

Dont drink optimum whey protein at night its useless.Whey protein is a fast absorbing protein.While casein takes 8-9 hours to digest.Its better to drink casein protein at night or drink nothing.

I suggest on off days use whey protein at any time except 1-2 hours before bedtime.In workout days drink it right after workout or sometimes i drink in between workout when i am doing heavy workout days.
