Stay away from Ding-Dongs, cupcakes, salty chips, candy, white bread and pasta. Focus on whole wheat pasta which has fiber and will make you feel full, fresh fruits and veggies (be wary of the canned fruits--they're soaked in a lot of syrup which is a bad diet crasher), dried fruits in moderation (again--the sugar), some baked chips such as Baked Lays, and fruit juices. Healthy oils like canola and olive is good--be light-handed with the butter.
