Exercising and gaining weight?!


Question: I have never conditioned for a sport or anything..never had more than 2 hours per week of excersise..
now last monday I started conditioning for a sport..running, up and down the stairs..and stuff like that..
this week we are doing actual practices..
I'm getting like 8hrs of exercise per week..
and I've already gain 3lbs..I have not done anything different (food-wise..) but its getting me mad...I've never passed a certain number when I didn't excercise now I have..
what am I doing wrong..3lbs in 2 weeks...what will happen in 2 months?

Your just building muscle...it's ok!

The most likely case is that you have built up that muscle right where you need it very quickly, and this could have caused the rapid weight gain.
