Will this be effective in loosing weight?!

Question: I'am 5''6 175-180lbs . I am muscular looking but, my stomach area is big; I have a lot of fat near my hips(love handles) I decided to diet and I wanted to ask if the way I am going to be doing this will be effective. I bought green tea extract pills to help curb my appetite and stimulate my metabolism. The main thing Is I started working out more and eating right. So I will describe my day to see if iam doing this correct. When I wake up I have 1 packet of weight control oatmeal or a special K bliss cereal bar which are 90 calories per bar. I then take the green tea supplement. lunch-salad with vegies with some ham and turkey cubes. After class will be my workout- today, intense basketball for over an hour . while other days I will do long distance running. For dinner-1 1/2 pieces of baked chicken with no skin. Bowl of veggie soup, half of glass of skim, and a small bowl of peaches. Its really hard bc iam on a college campus and theres a lot of temptations at our cafe. thanks

Your diet and exercise sound great, but I would add a little more substance to your breakfast. Maybe an orange, or piece of whole wheat toast because you need most of your calories in the morning. Hope you keep it up and do well. God bless. The Lord loves ya.

Yes sir (just please don't hurt me.)

First of all green tea does not curb your appetite. Second, try adding a CLA supplement in there. It is really good for breaking up hard fat so its easier to metabolize. Try Tonalin CLA from GNC, take 3g a day. (3 capsules if you get that one)

Hey.
Well that sounds really effective. You are following a good diet and having plenty of exercise. Good Luck!
Hope i helped =]

yes.
just make sure you exercise and
drink lots of water. take th e green tea whe nyou're hungry but
don't want to eat. not right after you eat.

When losing weight you must eat enough or your body will preserve fat and you won't lose weight. If you are really exercising vigorously you need more food to prevent this from happening.
For example: whole grain cereal with fat-free milk, banana and tea for breakfast. Apple snack.
Lunch: salad as mentioned with a cup of milk, a fruit, 1 slice whole wheat bread.
Snack: 1 ounce almonds and sugar-free gelatin
Dinner: grilled chicken breast, 1 baked sweet potato, small green salad, steamed broccoli
Snack: small bag no-fat pop corn
