you're probably still really young and your metabolism is still really fast so what you eat hardly matters. plus you're used to eating real healthy so you're body's grown accustomed to it. your metabolism tends to slow down around your mid to late 20s then more and more as you get older. But you really haven't given a lot of information either. have you done anything else differently since then? have you been under more stress lately? have you been exercising more than usual too? Plus, portion size is a key factor as well. Most guys could probably eat half a pizza easily or more. Girls generally are more picky eaters and eat smaller portions. So one slice isn't going to damage your diet as a whole pizza obviously. And there are obviously fat kids and that's due to bad genetics, bad diets, and inactivity. You'd probably gain weight if all you ate was junk food nonstop. The occasional cheat on your diet is normal and okay since it keeps you motivated.

Also, maybe the 8 lbs you lost isn't fat but muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. It's more dense so a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat but just takes up less space. How your clothes fitting? You don't want to loose your lean muscle since ultimately that keeps your metabolism revved up and gives you definition.

That kind of food is unhealthy---the damage it's doing is to your organs--it may or may not affect your weight. Just because it doesn't make you gain weight doesn't mean it's healthy; just like things that can contribute to you gaining weight aren't necessarily unhealthy. You won't reap the consequences of eating that crap until your late 20's. By then, it'll be too late to reverse much of the damage you've caused.

same scale?? same time of day/day of the week? Is everything the same? And are you wearing the same clothes?

That is weird and I bet you probably haven't lost 8 lbs (unless you've also been working out a lot). Weigh yourself again in a few days and see if there's any change.

Also, if you were eating great for weeks before and working out, and then started eating bad it could be the loss from previous weeks is catching up with you.

If you continue to lose weight this fast and you're sure its not the scale, I'd mention it to a doctor, nurse, or physical trainer and see what they have to say.

ps - junk food is very bad for you! :)
