Scale fluctuations?!

Question: Ok, I've been working my tail off in the gym and eating right. The pants are fitting looser and looser and the shirts are getting bigger.

But can I really trust my scale. A month ago, it said 230. Then it went up to 237. Then it dropped to 229.

Last week it said 230 (mid day).

Three days ago it said 225 (first thing in the morning).

Today it said 220(first thing in the morning).

What the bloody hell is wrong with my scale? Can I go with it, or do I need to use a doctor's scale?

you shouldn't weigh yourself too often. And people usually weigh themselves in the morning (before breakfast). you probably put on weight because you increased your muscles, which are heavier than fat, which is why you can notice a difference on your clothes but not on your scales.
you could try and measure your waist, bum, legs and arms as well to see how many inches/cm you lose cos it's not just the scales that count.

eh ide get a new scale. Cause you're prolly losing weight since your pants and shirts are fitting looser. Or you could be gaining muscle... after all it weighs a lot more than fat. As long as you're feeling good about yourself and like the way you look it doesnt matter what your scale says.
