Do I need to Gain weight? or Lose weight?!

Question: From the waist up, I look like a skinny toothpick and cannot pinch more than a centimeter of skin anywhere. But my thighs and butt are really fat! I can pinch several inches of fat and they wobble whenever I step.

How can I be more evenly disbursed? I need to both gain and lose weight.

My current weight is 110 and I'm 41 yrs old and 5'5".

Maybe gain a little, your bmi right now is a 18.3 and 18.5-24.9 is normal, so you are under weight. But I would try and turn the weight you want into muscle, muscle weighs twice as much as fat.

lose weight, but really should exercise and tone than simply diet

think you need to gain weight and distribute it evenly! go see a doctor. they can help you! somethin aint right!!

Run or cycle will be the best bet i believe. But for your age i believe that cycling would be the best option out of the two because it is easier on the body. This should burn fat off you in the leg region. And if you want to gain weight up top do some weights. Just remember you have tto keep up with the cycling and weights for results this wont happen over night but you should start feeling better after a fews weeks so you get a double bang for your time. goodluck and dont give up.

At 5'5" and 110 pounds, you are technically just barely underweight according to the Body Mass Index. If these are accurate measurements then you may just have a negative body image?
