Will junk food make me fat?!

Question: I am a 17 years old boy, 5' 10, 144 pounds, and my parents keep telling me that I need to gain weight. I am wondering if I eat junk food everyday, such as chips, chocolate, cookies and peanut butter (all in regulation), will they eventually make me fat?

Eating junk a lot of junk food will get you fat. However, please do not do it. It will get you fat, but it will also ruin your health. Try to gain weight by eating a lot of meat and then working out. Instead of adding on fat, add muscles. If you do not want to do that, eat just moderate junk food and a lot of meat to gain weight.

It won't keep you skinny

DUHHH!

it would make you look even worse
u would look lanky and vey out of shape and you will not live long

If you want to gain weight and not be fat, try body building. Eat good food, exercise and you will put on weight in muscle instead of fat.

eventually they will. there is simply nothing healthy about a diet that high in processed foods and especially foods that are high sugar and fats. there is no naturally occurring food on the planet that is both high sugar and high fat. our biology can not efficiently metabolize such foods, they are unnatural in many ways...

HELL YEAH!!!!!

well peanut butter is not junk food acctually. if u eat it in moderation, the good fats will help you loose weight.
If you want to gain weight and stay toned, do major weight lifting, bc muscle weighs more then fat. besides wouldnt you rather have a sick pack then a pot belly?

yea, I need to gain weight myself and a few girls told me if I gain babyfat in my face I'd look like im gaining weight, for some ppl when you gain weight depends on where your body stores the fat. I go for greasey foods, soda and what you have listed.

dude, its junk food. yes.
