Besides drinking water, is there a way to curb your appetite?!

Question: I've heard that if you take one tortilla chip and dip it in real hot salsa it can curb your appetite. But you love Doritos so maybe that's not a good idea for you.

eating water...or drown..lol

chew gum. take green tea extract, stare at poop all day

If your referring to not eating junk food and eating 3 meals a day without grazing all day, then you just need to eat protein with every meal along with fresh fruits and vegetables. Dense protein helps keep you satisfied longer so that you are not tempted to eat more. Dense protein is chicken, turkey, beef, fish, eggs, nuts, beans........Avoid soda and junk food and also processed foods.........

Eat food thats high in soluble fibre like carrots, broccoli, and coli-flower theyll keep you feeling fuller longer without a lot of callories also try eating more protein it also keeps you fuller longer but it does have more callories

I have found that the energy drink monster work well.....what is so great about it is that it not only increases your metabolism....but the green apple flavor and scent is a natural appetite suppresant........my wife has lost twenty pounds sinc she started drinking monster energy!!!!

I find crunchy foods like carrots or celery really help.

Don't chew gum! It stimulates the digestive process and makes you feel more hungry.

Interestingly, smell (oil of lemon, peppermint or wintergreen can help arrest the appetite. Try this. Smell something enticing about 15 to 30 minutes before a meal. the smell "tricks the brain" into thinking that it's already had something to eat. Studies have shown that this can reduce total caloric intake.

Another trick is to eat protein, and complex carbohydrates. These take longer to digest, and so are less likely to be associated with between-meal snacking or sudden binges.

Or, you can take some high fiber food like fruit, cole slaw or some Metamucil first, and that bulk will help you to feel full faster.

Finally, never eat mindlessly (like in front of the TV) as you will unconsciously overeat because you will not be attentive to your body's messages. Instead, sit down and "watch yourself" eating. Savor the food. Enjoy the flavor. Take your time and you can thus allow the first food that you eat to start to digest and release into the blood stream where it will start to turn your appetite off - naturally.
