Diet tips and "good" snacks?!
Question: Hey doing well on my diet so far. Burning at least 500 calories on my cross trainer a day, (pretty good for me, as a start I hope). Drinking water soo much that it will probably start coming out my ears!! Eating a healthy balanced diet too, no crap.
Only thing is, is that because I know that I am on a diet, I get cravings more for snacks. Willpower is quite good at the minute but I would like some ideas that have few calories and maybe alternatives to fruit(I am already eating more fruit and veg). Nothing too extravegant or expensive.
Thanks
Oh and if any1 has any other helpful diet tips they would be much apprecriated!!!

What I find reallllly good to cut cravings are popsicles, get them in fruity flavors. It lasts a long time and makes you feel like your eating. Also, trident splash gum works good too.
fruit
rice cakes
raw veggies
I personally don't eat much fruit because it has too much sugar it in for me. I prefer lean protein, healthy fats and complex carbs. Perfect snacks for me are... 5-6 whole wheat crackers with feta cheese. Or a handful of roasted almonds. Or 1/4 cup of canned salmon on 1/2 a small whole wheat pita. A boiled egg. A green apple dipped in peanut butter. Lean turkey lunch meat rolled up with a tablespoon of cream cheese. Ground flax seed mixed in the blender with 1/2 a piece of fruit and a splash of milk.
