Oh! Oh! I know this! I'm taking a biology course right now. Your body uses it in cellular respiration, and it's given off mostly in heat, and some in H20 and C02 from when you breath out.

Your body reabsorbs it for energy

it probably floats through the air like magic, then glues itself to my hips.

It's used up to give you energy. Kind of like when you burn a log. It doesn't disappear, per se, but it's used up to create the light and heat.

Most of it turns into heat.

Usually through sweat or using the bathroom.

Your muscles literally burn it away. :|

It's headed right for the ozone causing global whining.

Your body burns it for energy. Sort of like how gasoline gets depleted in a car.

Fat cells never go away so you still have the same amount, they just shrink. When you consume fewer calories or work out more, your body needs to use the energy and burns the fat cells.

The fat would be potential chemical energy. The law of conservation of energy means that energy can't just disappear but it can be converted into other forms of energy. When you exercise, you are converting the chemical energy (the stored fat) into kinetic (movement) energy.

Your body uses it for energy.

When we eat, our body does three things

1. it uses what it can
2. it stores what it can for later energy
3. it gets rid of the waste.

You burn the fat ususally by excersising(especially resistance training), and yeah, excersising can make fat disapear

calories are what the body burns for energy. but if you eat less calories or exercise (burn more calories) you body runs out of calories to burn, so it burns the fat. that is why anorexics are so unhealthy becuase when it burns all the calories and fat it starts to burn muscle and organs.
