First, you don't need a gym to loose weight. However it would help if you do. 2 important things are excercising and eat healthy. If you don't want the gym, perhaps you can get one of the workout dvds and do them (I would suggest TURBO, it's so hard! But fun) or the Billy Boot camp, or etc.) Just get something that will make you sweat. Do that about every other day for about 1 hour or so, and then perhaps weekday for 45 minutes-1 hour and rest on weekends. Try to walk more or run, jog. If you have a dog, take your dog for a walk, walking will get you to have some of the cardio needed to loose weight. Now diets. They are hard to follow at first, but once you're on the habbit, it'll be fine. Try not to eat fastfood so much, and instead bring something from home or buy something healthy. For example, don't get a hamburger or taco burritoes for lunch, instead get a wrap with turkey and lettuce or a fresh garden salad. No more fry foods (maybe once a month thing), and decrease in fats. Use cooking spray instead of oil, and buy low-fat or reduce fat products. Decrease your salt intake. Buy lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat about 4-5 times a day about every 2-3 hours or so. Like for breakfast have some oats and toast with light jelly, then 3 hours later have a salad for lunch with water, and later some fruits. Whenever you feel hungry (and you will) eat some fruits or light calories snack like rice wafers or mixed nuts instead. Then for dinner, watch your cooking, reduce the use of fats in your meals.
