Thighs rub during workout/Friction rash?!

Question: So here's my dilemma: My thighs usually rub together and after having gone to the gym yesterday and working out for a couple of hours I come home and find that I've rubbed my inner thighs pretty raw. It's still a bit sore and uncomfortable. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what to do to prevent this from happening in the future. Boxer-briefs? Cycling shorts? Baby powder?
As always, your answers are appreciated.

Spandex type shorts will work, but the best stuff out there is Bodyglide. Its in the form of a deodorant stick, and it is the best stuff in the world. Check out their website at www.bodyglide.com

i guess its too late .. but maybe you shouyld have started working out a few months .. or years ago .....

Spandex. Buy some.

thunder thighs

buy an anti-chafing lotion. they are at the grocery store in the lotion aisle. hope it helps. maybe get seamless shorts too if it helps.

baby powder before you exercise and after ...lubricant if you will

If this happens again try using hydrocortisone cream. That will clear up the rash in no time. For the future, I'd recommend baby powder and wearing clothing that protects the area.

Baby powder.

How about some cornstarch, it's better than baby powder.Perhaps you could change the style of exercise until your thighs don't hurt, maybe you just over did it for the day as well. Lay in front of the fan and let the cool breeze on the area, good luck.

My husband has this same problem and it's not because he is fat it's just that his legs are so large. Honestly I would use gold bond powder and were cotton underwear to help air circulation. ALso if your skin is raw use Destin night time formula. It's baby rash cream but if I put that on my husband at night before he goes to bed, you have to be naked for it to work, then by the next morning it's almost gone, if not he applies more. YOu have to put it on pretty thick.. anyways hope this helped!
