About how much would I lose?!

Question: I'm about 200 pounds now. I want to get down to 130. I'm planning to eat about..
1 can of chicken noodle soup = 200 calories
An orange = 75ish calories
An apple = 80ish calories
A half of a cucumber = ???
Each day.
I'll only be drinking water.
I can't get much exercise really. There's too much snow to go walking/running/biking etc. etc.

But how long do you think it would take to lose those 70 pounds if I followed this daily?
Also, how many ounces of water a day is recommended?

First off, water intake: Cut your weight in half, and that's how many ounces you should be drinking MINIMUM. So you need to be drinking atleast 100 ounces per day.

I'm sure you've heard this before, but I can't stress it enough. Unless you want to put all the weight on that you lose, losing two pounds per week is the maximum for HEALTHY weight loss. If you lose much more than that, it's more than likely water weight or muscle mass. Not fat. That being said, it would take about 8 months to lose 70 pounds the right way.

Although, if you'd like to stick to your food plan, you might lose quite a bit of weight from the getgo. But you'll be famished, hungry all the time, no energy. That doesn't sound like something you'd want to stick to for long huh? At the very minimum, you should be eating 1200 calories a day. Anything less than that will send your body into starvation mode, and you'll only store the calories you consume. Thus, making weight loss a lot harder.

Good luck!

to lose weight very effectively you need to eat three meals a day.
That is because you body store fats if it think you are not going to have food for a while. you also will not be able to accomplish this by not exercising. A pound of muscle burns 50 calories a day, a pound of fat burns three. so just by having musle you lose weight . so to sum it up, eat three meals, just less, do your push ups sit ups and race up and down the stairs for fun even if it is too cold. have fun with it. I lost 45 pounds by this in 2 months. and i feel great and eat however i want, you just need to eat a balanced diet.

That is a horrible diet!!!! You need to break it up and change it up. While you say you can't get much exercise, hook your toes under the couch and do sit-ups, lay on the floor and do leg lifts, stand with a can of food in each hand and do arm lifts...there is plenty you can do wihtout buying any equipment right in your house and that will help you WAY more than a diet like what you are suggesting! As for loosing 70 pounds, 5-8 pounds a month is good pace.

eat at least 1200 calories a day. if you don't, your body will go into starvation mode and your metabolism will slow down A LOT.
you can exercise in your house-jumping jacks, jump roping, crunches, pushups (or "girl pushups")
drink as much water as you want. the more the better. also it fillls you up so you won't be tempted to eat as much.
i suggest watching "I Can Make You Thin". its on TLC at 9 on sundays and its really great!

hope i helped and good luck!

you'd die before you lost 70 pounds. It's not enough food.

I'd recommend weight watchers cuz my mom did it and lost like 75 pounds.

Healthy weight loss takes time, but it'll feel good in the end.
