Too much protein??!


Question: OK, I generally have some lean protein at every meal... and while that's good... at 146lbs, I'm still trying to lose weight. (I'm 5'5 btw).

So I think maybe if I cut back on protein I would lose more weight? Since I'm a mesomorph body type meaning I build muscle easily, which sucks for being a female :P

I think if I lost some muscle (mainly in my legs and butt) I would look, feel better.

Would cutting protein to only once a day or less help you think?

That is not the problem. It is many things starting with the fact that the fatter you are, the more money food companies make. So they are using cutting edge technology to make you fat. Lean meat is very fattening but not due to the protein. It is due to the hormones that they give to the cows to fatten them up and produce more milk.

Probably... since muscles need protein to stay strong and remain there. Want to trade body types? =p

i used to see a naturopath and she told me the best time to eat protein is in the morning. once a day is plenty. on a side note, a lot of people in our culture consume way too much protein. in other countries people eat meat as a side dish rather than as the main course like we do. people use protein as an excuse to eat everything in sight, while it's very easy to get all the protein you need without eating meat(i'm not a vegetarian btw).
