Is there any other abdominal excercises that you can do instead of crunches?!


Question: I dont like laying on the floor it hurts my neck. I want to know if there's a way that you can do it while standing or even walking around. Please help! =]

I have a really really bad back, so I bought myself one of those big medicine balls ( I got mine at walmart, it wasn't expensive at all) and I love it! I've gained so much muscle in my stomach from using it, and my back doesn't hurt nearly as much!

I put it up against a wall, find my balance, and rest my knees against the wall with my feet flat on the floor. I do my crunches from there. It keeps you nice and elevated, takes away the strain on your back, and still gives you the effect of crunches.

If you join a gym (like I did) you can also use the captains chair. It suspends you slightly, and your legs dangle. Then, you lift your legs to your chest. THATS the best ab work out I've had in a really long time. I am typing this while resting after being at the gym, and my abs really feel tight and slightly sore, its a good feeling though!

lay on your back, put your hand over your head on the floor you can even hold on to something heavy to keep you down and then lift your legs up and down it burns but it works really good! <3
