Does Not Having Much Of An Arch On Your Foot Affect Your Running and Endurance!?!

Question: I don't have much of an arch, does this affect my endurance level? How can I increase my endurance while running? I feel awkward running around the block [I don't know why it just seems weird to me] Any other ways?

yes it does my sister has flat feet and it hurts her feet and back 2 run just get some of those dr. sholls arch support it also gives her bad headahes to <3

get some arch supports

having fallen arches or flat feet affects how a person walks since it affects how the feet support the body's weight. people with flat feet would tend to experience fatigue and pain in the feet more than people who have normal arches. walking barefoot is said to be helpful for everyone, unless extremely flat footed. however, if present in an adult, exercising the muscles of the feet do not really help since the muscles there are too short. wearing arch supports might help. once your feet are more comfortable, you might be able to build up your endurance. do this slowly over a period of time, either gradually increasing the distance you run or the length of time that you run.
