Is exercising on an exercise Bike good for losing stomach fat?!

Question: Any excercise is good for burning fat. The key to burning calories is consistency. Find an excercise that you enjoy and try to do it at least 3-4 times a week. For more fat burning, i find that its better to do more moderate aerobic excercise for longer duration... say as opposed to short, but more intense workouts. that way you are more likely to burn through your sugar, starch reserves and dip into your fat reserves.

Any aerobic excercise will do, so long as you recruit major muscle groups. Thats why some bike, other walk/jog, and some swim. For those who are paraplegic, swimming or arm cycles will do the job nicely too.

Finally, to get a better shape to your belly, you also need to work on toning the muscle. Any excercise that recruits your abdminal works. This can be skipping rope, situps, leg raises, rowing etc... Workouts that use body dynamics, like yoga and pilates are good for toning abdomens.

Also, be realistic. the final outcome is partly determined by your genetics too. So if you don't get that killer ab... don't get discouraged, you'll still look great!

yes

exercise bike is cardio and will help you lose weight but if you want to target just the abs try, lay on your back, put your hand over your head on the floor you can even hold on to something heavy to keep you down and then lift your legs up and down it burns but it works really good! <3

yes. Our health and nutrition experts will you some advice about your health Or visit our site http://letdiet.blogspot.com to get directly.

I also go on an exercise bike every day. I think it burns calories and tones your arms and legs. I do 50 sit-ups a day to help keep my stomach and midriff in check.

It is impossible to spot reduce fat for one body part, you have to lower your overall body fat percentage

But yes the bike is really good, but rather than do a long session do HIIT training

HIIT:
4 min warm up
15 second sprint
45 second mid pace
15 second sprint
45 second mid pace
15 second sprint
45 second mid pace
15 second sprint
45 second mid pace
4 min warm down

12 minutes total, a total killer and can burn 9 times more fat than a long steeady state cardio session

Not really, you should do floor exercises like Pilates, which is amazing for tummy flattening!

100% yes me dad does an hour a day on the exercise bike and has lost a lot of weight

Cycling will make you burn fat, yes, but mostly in your legs, and you'll build a lot of muscle in your calves and thighs. If you want to tone up your stomach, to sit ups and work those abs!!
