Will I lose weight and tone up if I....?!


Question: walk with a 3lb weight in each hand? I am not a big girl, 5''5 and 129 lbs. I'm looking to lose about 4 more lbs and tone up. I'm already eating healthy and exercising daily. However, I wanted to start incorporating more strength training into my exercises. I was wondering if the 3lb weights will tone me up(they're actually quite heavy for me) and if they'll take those few last pounds off. I do some of my cardio to a workout DVD, but I don't always feel like being cooped up inside, so will the walking work? Any suggestions for exercises to do with the weights that will work my entire body (mainly arms and legs).

Yeah, I used to have these strap on / velcro weights that I'd put on my ankles and on my wrists when walking. It definitely will help you tone up ;)
***Just make sure to keep the pace as fast as possible and if you can pump your arms as you walk it will work your arms & upper body as well ~ not to mention burn more calories :)
