Pull ups work your biceps and your upper back muscles. And yes, they are great for developing those muscles.

After a light warm up, do as many as you can, until you cannot physically do any more.
Then, rest for a few minutes and do it again.
Repeat this procedure for 3 - 5 sets once every 4 or so days - until there is no soreness in the muscles at all.
Your muscles grow when they are resting, not working.

Don't forget to do some sit ups to work your core, push ups for your chest and triceps and squats / lunges for your legs. All of these don't require weights to do.
The same principal applies though, do as many as you can until you fail. It is only by pushing yourself to the limit that you see results!!

Good luck!

Try the lighter, the more, like if it wuz 15 pounds, do 50, 25 pounds, do 45, 45 pounds, 25, and so so so so on

Well, you should start off with how many you can do until you can't do no more. If that's 10, 15, 20, etc. Once you reach your cut off point, do that many daily and every week try and add like 5 more to that.

I would say 8 sets of 10 reps 3-4 days a week, after about 2 weeks you might not see results yet but your strength should increase quite alot.

One thing that will help you lose weight: a colon cleanse. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few until I found a great one that works (its all natural too! - it's just pills, but you'll detox, lose weight, and fell much, much better). You can go to
