Whatever you do, DO NOT LISTEN TO GIRL_95 (first response).

Anyhow, there's no real way to estimate how long it will take to go away, do 30 minutes cardio (jogging) every day, whether it's on the spot or outdoors, your choice, aslong as you're exercising, it'll help the weight go down faster, but 126lbs isn't all that bad, but if 10 pounds is what it takes to feel good about yourself, go for it.

1500 Calories a day is fine, but make sure it isn't 1500 calories a day of ice cream, switch from white bread to wholemeal, beef burgers to chicken breast, simple changes.

Dieting alone isn't good enough to lose weight, you need to keep a balance of exercise and dieting in order to lose weight properly.

Best of luck

eat 500 calories

sounds like a healthy weight. you need to be doing exercise also. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE GUY ABOVE 500 IS WAY TOO LITTLE!!!!

3 weeks to 1 month. You have to stick to it and also not reduce your normal daily activity

It depends on how many calories you burn a day. If you burn 2000 calories a day, then you would lose a pound a week (500x7=3500 calories). So at that rate you would lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks.

dont restrict yourself of food, i used to do that and id just end up binge eating, which is the worst. avoid crappy junk foods, most people who i know thatre trying to lose weight eat all junk. get out and do stuff, excercise instead of staying on yahoo asking how to lose weight.

I agree with Micheal, 500 calories daily is not healthy. You won't get the nutrients you need. The 1500 calorie diet you are proposing would work a lot more efficiently with exercise. Depending on your many factors, it could take as little as 3 weeks, or in other cases longer (2 months). Those are only really estimations.

It depends.

If you eat 1500 calories a day then you're not going to lose any weight if you sit on your butt all day. You can exercise, run, aerobics, whatever. Just make sure that you are burning more calories than you are eating--it's that simple.

Now it also matters what you eat too. I can get 1500 calories by eating 3 Big Macs, but I'm pretty sure that's now how you wanna go about it.

My advice is to stick to a strict diet and exercise regimen. It's really a lifestyle change. A lot of it is mental. Because let's say you do all you work hard and eat healthy and you lose 10 lbs. in a month, you have to KEEP doing that stuff or else you will gain the 10 lbs. back.

So like I said, it's a lifestyle change. You can say that you're going to be a different person at 116 lbs--for better or for worse.

idk but 1lb=3,700 calories so you'll need to burn 37,000 so if you work out a lot probably 1 month
