Cut down on carbs and starches. Avoid fried foods. Each lots of vegetables and fruit. Cut down on salt. Frozen vegetables are better that canned because of the sodium (salt) content. Drink lots of water 8 to 10 glasses a day. Watch portions sizes. 6 oz. of protein should be one serving of meat. Avoid bacon, ham, sausage...bacon and ham have lots of salt content, and bacon and sausage have lots of fat. Contact your local heart and stroke association. I'm sure they would have some sort of guidelines for proper eating.
In Canada we have the Canadian Food Guide which is a great guideline for eating properly. Exercise is important, but even a brisk walk daily is a good start. Good luck!

the easiest answer...drink lots of water. yea its simple but the results are amazing

That's good that you want to lead a healthier lifestyle. I give you much respect for that. Try i Diet & Fitness. That's my recommendation to you. I've used them with great success.

I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her (100% natural). I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. It's really a colon cleanse, and it's a healthy way to detox, not like most diet pills. Check their website at
http://www.no-strss-diet-help.us , my aunt got a free trial and paid only $4.95 shipping and handling.
