Should a woman be able to ONLY wear a sports bra and shorts in public while jogg!

no its is acceptable, you are allowed to do that, its like wearing swimwear in public. they cant tell you not to, and if they do then they have problems because it is legal. but check your states, indecent exposure laws to make sure.

As far as I know, it is legal for you to exercise in public wearing only a sports bra and some sort of pants or shorts. As long as your breasts are covered this does not qualify as public indecency. Keep up the exercise girl! If men can go shirtless, women should be able to keep cool too!

Yeah out on the street you are fine. Some cities even let women go topless! In a gym however sometimes they have dress codes. I know in mine you have to wear a shirt.
I've never heard of anything like this. I assume that if you are dressed decently (with nothing showing that shouldn't be) that you can jog in whatever clothes you feel like wearing. (jeans, shorts, yoou name it.)

Most women who run regularly wear something like that. It gets really hot after you've been running for 5 miles, and t-shirts can get sticky and weigh you down.
Unless you live in a country that has very strict laws about women covering up, you can run dressed like that. You'll be totally fine if you run like that in the US. I run a lot (7+ miles every day), and I usually wear a long sports bra that's between a bra and a tank.
T-shirts get really icky, even if you buy the new ones.
Some advice: don't forget sunscreen, or your back and shoulders will burn. You need it even when it's not super sunny. Personally, I prefer a spray sun screen when I'm running outside.
Don't run trough dark streets, alleys, and parks, regardless of what you wear.
If you go to a gym, always wear t-shirts with sleeves even if they don't have a dress code. Clean the machines before and after you use them. They are a breeding ground for bacteria, and the hot sweaty skin under your armpits will be an ideal home for lots of nasty stuff if you don't put a barrier. Also, try not to touch your eyes.
I know several people who got fungus under their armpits from an ab press.
personal preference here... but a sport bra to include a Tank top would prolly be better. better safe than sorry and its just a tank top so you wont be too layered up.
Sure. It shouldn't be a problem. I have done this. I wear this to the gym. I would bring something just in case you need to fend off an attacker or something. You never know. I know that I don't completely trust my neighborhood people. I don't know most of them. Most of them seem to crawl into the woodwork. When I do see some of them, I can see why. :-)
Not to be mean, but geez, some people just don't look like they see the light of day all that often. (messy hair, junky looking clothes, etc.)

That kind of clothing for jogging is so common here in this part of California, your question didn't make sense to me at first. But each community is free to set its own standards. Some even have laws about no swimwear except on the beach, which seems ridiculous to me, but okay, whatever.
As long as you don't live in Saudi Arabia you should be fine. I see women running in a sports bra and shorts all the time when it's warm out. Women do that at the gym too, although there it seems like it's as much to show off their body as it is for comfort.
If what you are wearing covers you as well as you would be covered at the pool, I don't see why anyone would have a problem. It might be an issue if you are slipping out of your bra, but otherwise I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it, or what they could do aside from complaining if they did.
