Is it better to jog 30 min everyday or every other day?!

Question: When just starting out, every other. As time goes by, slowly add on some distance. After a few weeks you should be able to go every day, especially if you were to then cut the distance down by half and then build up again...only daily.

Get some good running shoes, above the 600 series...

during training season i run everyday... it depends if u are injured or not.. if u have shin splints definitely go every other day i know from bad experience...

I do it everyday for 30 minutes and my friend does it every other day for 60 minutes. my friend who works at a gym said that my friend is counterproductive and it's better to do it my way.

this is a good question as i am not sure myself.

Obviously, everyday.
Unless you have a condition or muscle soreness. It's better to give your muscles time to rest.

i find that whenever i run everyday my legs start shaking when im at rest, so i would suggest running about 5 days a week to avoid overtraining.

The ideal workout program, if you have the time to do it, would be two workouts per day, with at least one day per week of rest (light activity, no real strenuous exercise).

So, one a day would be better than one every two days.

Also, unless you're training for a marathon or other very long endurance event, there's not much sense in exercising for over 1 hour at a time. That 1 hour would be "pure" exercise, not skill development for a particular sport. So, it makes sense for football players to train for hours a day, but all that time is not spent in strenuous activity, but rather skill training.
