Losing centimetres but not weight? going crazy!?!


Question: I have a 9 month old son and have been going to the gym since he was 6 weeks old. I go 3 times a week. I have slightly changed my eating habits. they're not perfect but they have improved. I also have an elliptical trainer at home which I go on between 1 and 3 times a week for (hopefully) 30 mins. I have lost 29cm off my body in the last 7.5 months but I have lost NO weight. I even put on 2 kilos then lost it then put on another 2 kilos and have only lost 1 of them back off. I'm not putting on muscle either. I go to curves and they have this machine thing that measures your body fat percentage. Each time I put on weight it was fat. I am 5'4 and i weight 76 KILOS! I cannot believe it.When i fell pregnant I was 64 kilos which was the heaviest I had EVER been and i put on 20 kilos during the pregnancy. I lost 10 kilos from breastfeeding. But now working out hasnt done anything. I mean my body has changed shape and I'm smaller, so how is it possible to weight the same? and its all fat?

you are gaining muscle cus if your losing inches and reshaping your body but its not showing on the scale then your building and toning your body. dont worry about it

because muscles weigh ore than fat.... if you are losing inches and not weight is because you are transforming some of that fat into muscle. dont worry, :D

maybe the machine is wack
