A dieting trick, How does this work? I made it up and it works for me.?!

Question: First off I lost about 80 pounds, When I first weighed 282, later I got down to 230 and switched to low calorie. But then my body got comfortable with the weight and I couldn't go lower no matter how hard I tried, I am now 187 pounds and the way I did it. Is by eating tons of food good and bad types for a few days straight and excercising with it. From what ive read the combonation of eating and excercising a lot of both put together makes your metabolism REALLY FAST. And when I dropped the pounds, I stopped eating so much and went back on my diet. I assume my metabolism was faster and it took time to slow down while dieting. I kept doing this till I was at the proper weight. So for example diet and excercise like usual for 5 weekdays and on the weekends eat as much as you want and get plenty of excercise to boost the metabolism. Therefor what you eat burns off plus more to keep you losing weight. How long does it take for your metabolism to slow down?. This for sure worked for me!

I think what you're saying makes some sense--our bodies do "hoard" energy when they perceive a reduction of food intake for an extended period of time, i.e., dieting, so going off the restrictive diet would fool your body into thinking there ISN'T a famine after all, and so it's okay to burn the energy efficiently. It sure proves that there's more to losing weight than just starving oneself!!

im not sure just by reading this, but my cousin tol dme recently about a diet that you switch between high fat and low fat foods at intervals like that, but you trick your body. and your metabolism is very high, however, she said never do it b/c your metabolism can never go back to normal due to all of those spurts, your system is like burnt out.

not sure that your diet falls into this category of high-risk diets, but unless a nutritionist or health professional is here to answer you, check w/ your doctor to make sure this won't do any permanent damage.

(keep in mind what my cousin said could totally be something she saw on the news, meaning like one stupid study didn't like it, which is no reason to quit, just get a professional opinion.)

also, congratulations on sticking with it! that's really awesome, keep up the working out, wish i was that tough. : )

No two bodies are exactly alike.Yet he alone will know who tries your trick
