Why do I get sooo overheated at night when I eat a lot more?!


Question: I'm actually pretty skinny, I keep the weight off but every week I have about 1 day where I eat what I wan't then burn it off the rest of the week. But the thing is I get very overheated at night and I weigh the same in the morning. I don't understand, Is my metabolism faster now thats not causing me to gain weight? My friend at work said it might be because when you eat more you drink less water because your getting full off mostly food and thats why. However, I drink tons of water so I know this isn't true. Does anybody know why when I decide to eat a lot I get very overheated?

Think of it this way

Food is made up of calories, and calories is basically heat and energy.

Your putting tons of "energy" into your body. Your body reacts by speeding up your metabolism as much as it can and trying to use as much as the energy as it can for different bodily functions, eventually once the metabolism takes care of the excess energy ( some might go to fat storage , some might be water weight, etc ) your metabolism will slow down again

Thats my guess anyway, happens to me sometimes. When you eat a lot of food..your putting more "heat" into your body.
