Swimming......need some answers please....?!
Question: So I'm in Iraq (deployed and in the Marines) right now (have 4 months left) and i haven't really asked specific questions, but this is one. If I swim 3-4 days a week for about 1-2 hours each time. Will that help tone my stomach and get it flat in the 4 months that i have left? I do the 1-2 hours cause I have that much time on my hands, that and I like getting a workout in the pool rather than the gym. I am also doing other ab excercises to help out. A lot less impact on the joints for me. Thanks y'all for any answers that are helpful :o)

It will def help. but you wont get a full on 6 pack. you'll just be flat and a bit muscley.

Yes, I think that will tone your stomach and get it flat.
The best results for bringing out abs that I know is using an exercise ball.
Hard to say, but I used to swim 6 days a week for 1-2 hours. I never had a 'six pack' but my stomach was flat. Good luck!
