I just want a flat stomach, not a four pack.

yes, pilates helps you to get lean long muscles. Plus, pilates focuses more on your core, which is your stomach so yeah, it is a great workout without adding muscle bulk. But it's kinda weird that you gain muscle bulk by doing aerobics. Is that possible?
