Body Pump - 3 times a week - using medium to heavy weights.
It got rid of my pear shape and has really toned up my arms as well. I've now got some pretty nice triceps.
Also, just as an aside, cut out any soy products from your diet...that's really helped me tone up as well (the estrogen in soy was making me gain weight around my hips and stomach).

ok then..but for ur arms u could do weight training for just ur arms
Well I work at a women fitness gym called Curves I have toned and I have also lost pounds but I really toned my toned my arms and hips (with if course muscles) its a great place PLUS its only a thirty minute workout its all your aerobics and weight training you need 30 min 3 times a week and you should be toned in a couple of months!!!
