I lost almost 2 pounds in less than a day! Is that bad??!


Question: yesterday morning i weighed myself and i was 154.5 and this morning after breakfast i weighed myself and now i'm 152.5!
is it because i stopped eating bread, caffine, and pasta? it's only been about two days, though. and it's not like i went to the gym today, i slept in. and i snacked all evening ysterday. it's so weird to me. i guess i just lose weight fast, huh?

Anytime you make a drastic change to what you are eating, your body has to adapt, be it bad or good. What that means to you is that you cut out lots of calories when you stopped eating bread and pasta.

A drastic cut in calories will lead to weight loss. Eventually what will happen if you dont exercise to help you lose the weight is that you will start to sacrifice lean muscle tissue and your body fat may stay the same or even increase.

How is your water consumption? if you are inconsistant with drinking enough water, your weight can fluctuate as much as 5lb in one day.

Just giving you some information so you stay informed.

its dont good to lose that much weight in 1 day, its ok, but if it keeps happing u will get sick, dont do it often

lol i wana do that and its not so wierd it actually a gud thing and ur in a diet so it works..!!
but it eventually will be harder but dnt stop it stil working

Try not to lose weight to fast or it will just come back on . 2-3 lbs a week is a good rate.

Your weight will go up and down a few pounds in the course of a day due to bowel habits and hydration levels.

The one thing you can be sure of is that it was NOT due to losing 2 pounds of fat.

I've dropped as much as 8 lbs of water weight during a 2 or 3 hour workout. Its just sweat, that needs to be replaced.

all the things that u cut out, if u eat them, they retain water in all the foods that u have eaten ............ therefore it was probably a fact that u used to eat those types of foods before and ur body has had to adapt ......... good job tho ........ my worst enemy is wheat and dairy atm, it gets me so bloated but i dont know how to stop them :(

but anywayz keep up the good work but dont expect like 2 pounds a day lol .......... oh btw if u dont feel like u have lost that much by clothes that probably backs up the whole retaining water thing because u will most likely have lost water weight lol but dont get discouraged
