How can i drink more water? i dont really like it, but its good for you..?!


Question: i try to drink as much of it as i can , but i dont really like it. how can i get myself to drink more? other than putting something like crystal light in it. im pretty sick of that stuff. thanks!

I agree with Emily. If you add Crystal light to your H20, your body processes it differently than if it were straight water. Adding lemon is a good way to get your water, and cleanse your kidneys and liver at the same time. I am not that fond of water either, so what I do is fill a 1.5 litre, (6cup) water bottle and tell myself I have to drink it ALL before a certain time. (I usually take one to work and make myself drink it all during the 8 hour shift.) Plus I drink 2 glasses in the morning with my vitamins, and if I'm really thirsty, I quench my thirst with water before I grab a soda or anything else. I drink water with my meals too, just to get more in. Funny thing is, I have no problem drinking a big bottle of Evian Water, but regular water is hard to choke down. I mean really, it's all water, the difference must be in my mind. LOL!

Well, you have to drink it regardless. Tell yourself you have to finish an entire water bottle before your favorite show is over, or if you want to watch your show you have to finish it. While you're working, have it by your side at all times. Try putting lemon juice in it, I find it tastes better than Crystal Light, or maybe strawberries. Those taste great.

Well for every glass of pop or juice you drink you should drink that much water to equal that go online and find some sites that can give you advice about drinking water

Eat a bag of potato chips or peanuts or something salty. It'll cause your body to "crave" water due to the salt content.

Carry it with you all of the time and make yourself drink at least a few sips every 15 minutes.

I love Crystal Light. The peach iced tea. lemonade, and orange pineapple are delicious.

Try making the water icy cold by either putting it in the fridge or adding lots of ice. I'm not crazy about water either (give me a diet coke anyday instead) but I find if it's cold, it's easier to drink. Good luck!

well water is in every thing u eat or drink so u dont have 2 worry about not gettin enough water!

You don't necessarily have to get all the water from water. Water is of course the best water source, since it consists of 100% water, but there are other good water sources as well

Water melon consists of 97% water, and most fruits have a high amount of water. Cucumber are also rich on water, the same with most drinks, such as juice, milk, chocolate milk, soda etc. And if you didn't know, all food consist of some percent water, however food sometimes also consist of other things which makes you need more water like for example salt, so even there are some water in for example potato chips, this will make you need more water.
