Slimming world depression..?!


Question: I've recently started slimming world nearly a month ago. I started off well, eating no syns and i lost 2 and half pounds in first week! Was really pleased! But then i got told to include my syns, and ever since then i've put on a pound and a half again... i'm following it to the book until the past week.. after a second week with a gain i got depressed and yes i admit cheated on 3 days!
I wonder if this is the right diet for me, or if i should give up now and go bk to my normal rountine, i usually eat healthy, and rarely treat myself as much as i do on slimming world... could this be the problem?

Your sins are there to keep you motivated so you don't feel you are missing out. I was on sliming world and always stuck to greendays eating the super foods. I lost 3stone 7lb in 11 wks. Keep to it it will work , drink lots of water to fill you up.After awhile you will find your palete for sweet food changes and you won't want to eat much of it. I used to stick ridgedly to the diet for 3 wks then have a chinese chocolate and wine for atreat. I found Id lose 7lb in aweek doing this as it give syour metabolism a kick. Anyway I hope you stick at it , you will win,keep motivated.

Slimming World does work if you follow it to the T. Read your book thoroughly again and make sure you write everything down before you eat it. Allow yourself at least 5 syns a day. Give it another shot!

i did slimming world and put on weight all i ate was pasta.i do my own thing now & lost 1.5 stone
