Diet - Will this work and how well?!


Question: Drinking at least 5 pints of water a day, exercisin on my cross trainer to the equivilient of 700 calories per day.

Typical food intake:

2 Slices of toast
Cupasoup with 2 slices of buttered bread
Dinner, soup, salad, 3 potatoes chipped with mixed veg
2 Apples

Along with this im drinking at least 5 pints of water.

Will this be successful and how much? Anyone with any diet tips also???

No, you have almost no protein. Protein is what builds muscles and boosts your metabolism to burn fat. You need at minimum 1/2 your body weight in protein grams (example, a 100 pound person needs a minimum of 50 grams of protein a day. )

Your diet might have only about 10 grams- very unhealthy because your muscles, hair, nails, skin, and eyes are made of protein. So are the cells that make up the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, nerves, and brain.

umm yes water is good. after every meal to flush everything down. i advice you to drink green tea. it speeds up your metabolism. have more than 3 meals a day. the main meal should be size of your fist. have fruit and veggies and every meal. fitness - cardio such as dancing and running. it burns fat and both are fun and both tone you up. that diet is so so. not too great. best answerrr? pleasee :)

wo!! 5 pints of water- your meant to drink about 8 glasses a day, thats around 2 litres, with 5 pints you'll be drinking 3 litres a day, you really dont need to drink this much, i just read in a magazine that too much water IS bad for you.
Also id quit with the cuppa soup, these are completeky fake food full of chemicals and totally unnatural, the best way is to make your own, these are so much better! also you have barely any protein in ur diet, this is very important, so try adding some meat to your dinner,instead of more soup! You dont need to starve yourself to lose weight, just eat healthy and sensibly, you can still have treats now and then, also make sure you ahve plenty of varied fruit and veg-instead of 2 apples try an apple and banana, again, too much of anything is bad for you...

Way to much water, and no protein, you need protein to repair muscle tissue, this includes the heart.
