How to lose 10 lb in a month and keep it off?!

Question: Could you tell me exactly what to do?

Answers: Could you tell me exactly what to do?

this is what i did.... first of all i joined a whole bunch of free websites to help me. i use fitday.com as a diary of all the foods i eat. i add everything i eat to it so i know to stay within the amount of calories i should have. i joined ivillage total health, healthy living program. it tells me how many calories i should eat and helps with an exercise plan. it has a lot of meal options and according to what you want to do it will give you the appropriate meal option and calories you should eat. so i am eating better, watching the calories and exercising and i feel great! i lost about 20 pounds in total and it was so much easier than i thought. i think i am mad for being overweight for years when i knew i wanted to be thinner and there is something i could do about it! i thought there was nothing i can do! and i use another website that tells me how many calories i burn with the exercise. so my exercise routine is 45 minutes of cardio 2 days a week, one hour of yoga one day a week, one day i walk for 30 minutes, i do jumping jacks everyday and sit-up/crunches everyday cause its easy. good luck! here are the websites...

top up yr mobile phone that will lose u ten pounds

I cut way back on carbs (no pasta or bread), cut out my pepsi or coke, and walked about 3 miles a day. Lost 32 lbs. It took me about 3 months. The problem was keeping it off. Once you lose it, you have to continue eating healthy foods. I hate to mention it, but I've gained back 20 of those pounds!

I saw just eat w/e u want but not too much of it. Small meals is always the best to go. N in your spare time, go out, rather than sit at home!

dont eat breakfast or lunch... eat a lunch around 230 and dont eat dinner until late. also exersize 3 times a week or more..maybe like 2 snacks a day... it workss i lost 9 pounds in like 2 weeks.

drink a LOT of water and eat 5 small meals a day and exersize.

I think some sort of exercise will help. I lost a significant amount of weight once I started running everyday. You might also want to think about Weight Watchers which has proven to be effective. Also if you make you your goal you get a free membership for life.

Exercise and eat right.

Stay away from fried foods, and foods with high fat content. I.E no mcdonalds, burger king, or fast food.

Eat a 1200 -1400 calorie diet, and exercise one hour a day for 3-5 days a week.

Eat foods such as chicken breast, turkey, fish, egg whites, (try to stay away from the egg yolks), anything wheat is usually really good for you (wheat bread & pita bread) Incorporate a lot of fruits and vegetables into your diet. Fish is also good. Try to eat three meals a day, or you can split up your meals into six meals a day. Stay away from trans fats, and stay on a low fat diet (20 grams per day). Oatmeal, and those healthy bars are good. For snacks, you can eat those 100 calorie packs.

As for lean cuisine for lunch, stay away from that. Lean cuisine meals have a lot of sodium on them which causes you to retain water.

There are also a variety of pastas now that offer whole wheat--just letting you know.

A sample lunch can include: a sandwich on wheat, with a bottle of water and a large apple. Breakfast could be oatmeal, or yogurt with fruit. Dinner could vary. You could bake fish, or bake chicken. Just stay away from junk food and greasy foods. Do not fight untill dinner. Eat healthy snacks. You can eat pop corn without better, celery, carrots, fruits, and soy chips.

For toning, you can do crunches, and push ups. For exercise take up running, swimming, jump roping or anything that works the heart. You can create simple workouts at home without a gym. (at first you might weigh more, but that is due to muscle weight) PS, try to exercise at least three times a week for a hour a day.

Good luck!

Remember to drink lots of water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated!
