Press-ups.?!

Question: i swimm 3-4 times a week. but from tomorrow, im gonna start doing 20 push-ups in the morning and 20 before i sleep. then i'll up it to 25 then 30 etc.

my question is, and i know its stupid, what results will i see? bigger pecs, more toned pecs, slimmer pecs? how long will it take?

I definately agree with philip, try more then that, to fully grow muscles you need high intensity. Thats why i recommend to start off maybe 4 sets of 15 push-ups. If you can't finish that go a bit less and gradually increase by the week.

Also as results go, after a few workouts you'll start seeing muscles come out of your flat chest. Thats what happened with me, but to fully optimize the growth in your pectorals try more diversity like incline/decline benchpress and flyes. If you have no equipment for incline/decline simply raise hands or feet on a bench while doing push-ups to work the top/lower chest more. By the way flyes workout inner chest more.

try 100 press ups. more challenging than 20. 20... you wont even sweat. after a few weeks or so. you will be able to increase the reps and tone muscles and increase chest.
