Will i gain weight after quitting smoking for 4 months?!


Question: okay, so i tried a cigarette in november, smoked periodically, then had maybe 2-4 a day for a month. i've eased off a lot. really i've only been smoking 2 cigarettes a week... if that. do i need to worry about weight gain? i mean, i lift weights almost every day and i do an hour of cardio on top of that most days. is gaining weight just inevitable or am i in the clear?

best for you is to gain muscle NOT fat. or at least you can use the power of proper approach to muscle building in order to help yourself in this period . there are so many success stories in this regard. you can use free videos and report from the first link I give you and 2nd is very good article you can use.

Quitting smoking does not directly cause weight gain. When people quit (usually those who have been smoking over a pack a day) tend to eat more because they need to keep their mouths pre-occupied. This is what causes weight gain. So don't worry about, I am glad that you have cut back.

you will be fine! leave the smokes alone! or they will hook u ! then you will be sorry for a long time!!!!!

Keep it up! I think ppl mostly gain weight bcos they put food in their mouth instead of a cig. Since u havent gained weight n down to 2 a week (which is nothing!) sounds like ur in the clear! congrats!!
