Answers: i dont want you to just say death. i want to see actual health risks that you could have with an eating disorder. just curious!

anorexia:
-heart problems (my hospitalized friend had a hole in her heart or something like that)
-organs shut down (embarrassing ones as well...my friend would pee in class; she couldn't contain it, it would just go.)
-depression is a major one.
-isolation. (afraid of going out because food is there, becoming distant from friends and family because its a secret)
-kidney stuff
-hair loss
-drained face, pale, bones
-blueish/odd colored nails
bulimia:
-rotted teeth
-callouses on knuckles and hands
-the stomach gets all messed up
-eventually, the person throws up without gagging themselves (one person i knew had to carry around a cup because after eating a little bit her body rejected the food involuntarily)
overall:
-SERIOUS PROBLEMS
-emotional damage that lasts a lifetime
-slower metabolism
-organs that won't ever function properly, or the way they did before an eating disorder

Malnutrition which leads to DYING.

Thats pretty much the only thing..... Everything starts to fail and you die. Simple.

Anorexia: Your organs can shut down after they're not used for a few days. You'll get tired more easily, increased chance of passing out.

Bulimia: Same thing but also your teeth will rot due to stomach acid coming up w/the food you throw up

You begin to lose your senses and reaction time, and you are constantly tired. Your menstruation will sway, and you will eventually start to have your stomach shrink. You will then die.

your hair will fall out, your skin with get really dry and wrinkly...you could paralysis yourself because of extreme mal-nurishment, you could faint which could cause alot of other injuries...that list goes on and on. It is absolutely horrible for you. And even if you do not see side effects on the outside or immediately, you dramatically increase your risk for premature death later in life.

Here are some things that happened to my sister and other friends with anorexia

- Personality changes that can ruin all your relationships
- Malnutrition leading to huge health problems and trips to the hospital
- Dehydration
- Inability to have a child
- Heart and liver damage

There are more, but that's what I've seen people I know go through.

Physical risks:
1. Loss of bone density due to either your period stopping, which provides the hormones to maintain your bones, or lack of nutrients period.
2. Growth of lanugo (down hairs) all over the body,
3. Loss of muscle mass. Basically, you'd end up looking like a starving Somalian with a big belly and no muscle.
4. Shrinking of your organs. Once your body hits famine response, it starts to break down proteins and muscles from your vital organs such as your liver, kidneys and brain.
5. Constantly feeling REALLY REALLY cold even if it's hot outside.

Mental Risks:
1. Depression. Pretty self explanatory.
2. Low self-esteem.
3. OCD. You start obsessing over the way you eat and how you eat.

'The biggest risks is DEATH,

Death is the biggest risk, but if that doesn't scare you...why ask?
