I just lost my first 5 pounds, staying motivated ?!?!


Question: i'm 5'6'' and officially 129 pounds. i just lost my five pounds.
but i've been feeling really sick lately. not because i'm not eating, i am. i honestly don't know why. i really only eat one meal a day and a snack cause i'm not that hungry and sometimes i just forget. but now i'm not feeling as motivated. cause i was so excited to be in the one twenties. i still have like 10 pounds to loose. but i have to stay motivated. any ideas how ?!

Surely if you lost five pounds you would see the difference already? Isn't that enough to keep you motivated? The fact that you have lost 5lbs should be enough to keep the ball rolling. If you're feeling sick, I'd say you should see a doctor because losing weight without eating enough can have side effects, but be proud of your achievement so far and carry on!

Why do you feel you need to lose another 10 lbs? That is a low/good weight for that height.

You have to eat 5-6 meals a day. You are probably feeling sick because your body doesn't have what it needs. Not only that, but eating 5-6 meals a day will speed up your metabolism and burn more calories. Eating one meal a day and a snack won't do it, because you are not getting your recommended calories. Therefore your body will enter starvation mode. That's probably why you are sick. Start eating 5-6 meals a day immediately. Not huge meals, though. Just fist size.
