Well 1st of all as you mentioned that you know the danger of any DETOX DIET like water fasting so it would be ridiculous to stat down its disadvantages

Step 1:
Get plenty of rest during your water fast. You may experience a drop in stamina and energy during this time. So forget about your 45 min cardio :P Don't overexert yourself. Maintain healthy sleep patterns.
Step 2:
Drink at least 7 to 10 glasses, each 8 oz., of distilled or purified water every day. Avoid tap water. It can reintroduce toxins and chemicals into your body and defeat the purpose of the fast.
Step 3:
Alternate a juice fast with water fast if you're contemplating a longer fasting period. That way, your body can receive important vitamins and nutrients on a periodic basis.
Step 4:
