When i do squats it hurts my shoulder blades.?!

You said you are doing them properly, so I am assuming your form is perfect. If you are still experiencing discomfort (I do sometimes), I would recommend using one of those foam guards that snap onto the barbell and evenly distribute the weight throughout your shoulders.
Also, if you plan on gaining more muscle mass...make sure you're doing your military press. The more meat you have on your shoulders the easier it is to support that weight. Keep at it though...you will get used to it.
